Where to get it
This quest is given by Olior who can be found in Mine Entrance in Dovan Helm
Prerequisites
You must be able to speak the Dwarven Language to talk to Olior.
You must complete Popping Out and Hot Pie before you can access the Mine Entrance.
Description
It's hard work in a dwarven mine. Olior wants an apprentice to help out, and he's willing to teach you dwarven mining skills.
How to Complete
After speaking with Olior, Guthor has something to say. He says he's been mocked because he has nothing dwarfish to do with his life. He mentions his brother runs a tavern, which is an appropriate job for a dwarf.
Head out to the tavern in Dovan Helm, The Bloody Skull and speak with Huthor. He tells you that Guthor is a disappointment to the family because he has nothing to do with his days. Huthor mentions that their father had high hopes for Guthor. Huthor will tell you that their father is a palace guard named Wada.
Head to the Ante Chamber and look for a guard named Wada. Speak to him about his sons and he'll tell you how his son who runs the tavern is a true dwarf, but that the other one hasn't worked out his way yet. Wada says his son should get a good dwarf job, like keeping beer, fighting or mining the earth.
Return to Guthor and mention the mining apprenticeship. He sounds excited and wants to know when he can start!
Talk to Olior about Guthor and says he'd be a great apprentice. He's surprised that his father has already agreed, and is impressed at how quickly you work.
