Where to get it
This quest is given by Bong who can be found in Gombard.

None
Description
Ask Bong about stories and he will tell you about the stuff of legends, such as a magic chicken that could not be killed and cows that exploded. Mention spells and he will remember an old spell rune that was smashed. Bong says the mages around these parts all have a piece. If you bring him the pieces, he can fix it.
How to Complete
Rune Shard 1
In Aria, talk to Dalf about the rune and he will give you the first Rune Shard (Left). For Dalf to give you his shard, you will need to complete his quest Eight Legs first.
Rune Shard 2
Proceed to Dondheim next and talk to Baldur. Ask him about the rune and he will give you the second Rune Shard (Top).
Rune Shard 3
Head to Shroom Town and speak with Mycena about the rune. She will give you the 3rd Rune Shard (right).
