What is Hardcore?
When making a character you have the option to select the checkbox for "Hardcore" (or "HC").
Hardcore characters are a challenge mode which upon death, will automatically get deleted.
Hardcore Differences
There are some major differences between a Softcore/Normal character and a Hardcore character.
Death = Deletion - So take less chances and don't rush your grind.
Names are Red - This does not mean they can PvP, as PvP will never be in Tales of Yore.
Cannot Trade with other players - (Hardcore or Softcore)
Does not gain Exp from Gathering or Crafting, only from killing enemies.
Can own a House, but cannot use House Storage.
Cannot Party with Softcore, but can Party with other HC Characters.
Cannot be assisted by Softcore Players (No healing you or giving you buffs). - Other players can attack or target monsters on the HC player, but cannot directly interact with that player.
