What Is Mastery?
Mastery is the accumulated knowledge obtained from learning a weapon to its fullest extent.
Once something is Mastered you will no longer gain any skill from it and must find the next stronger option.
To see if something is Mastered, check for the Yellow Shield in the top right of the item.
Mastery Benefits
When you Master an item, you will gain additional benefits.
Weapons will do damage towards the top of the damage range.
Tools will more frequently obtain drops.
Pets do not gain any additional benefits from Mastery.
Mastery Levels
Weapons are mastered 21 levels above their required skill indicated on the Weapon.
Tools are mastered 11 levels above their required skill indicated on the Tool.
Pets are mastered 11 levels above their required skill indicated on the Pet.
