Strength
Represents how much physical strength your character has.
Affects mace, sword, mining, parry, smithing and lumberjack.
Strength is a common requirement in those weapons and tools and armor.
Intelligence
Intelligence represents the ability to reason, understand, and focus mental capabilities.
Affects casting, enchanting, potions, fishing, cooking and resist.
Intelligence affects maximum mana.
Dexterity
Dexterity represents the ability to aim and control intricate weapons and items.
Affects archery, throwing, resolve, foraging, fletching, tailoring and carpentry.
Dexterity is a common requirement for bows and throwing weapons.
Constitution
Represents general hardiness and resilience.
Affects hit points and hunger.
Hit Points
Hit Points (HP) represent the health of characters. HP is lost by taking damage from enemies. When a character's HP reaches 0, the character experiences Death where items and gold may be lost.
HP can be passively recovered when the player is neither hungry nor poisoned. Potions can also be used to restore health.
Current health formula:
Max HP = 25 + (Constitution * 2)
Mana
Mana is the amount of magical energy a character possesses and is used to cast spells.
Mana is affected by intelligence and can be passively recovered when the player is neither hungry nor poisoned, and has positive mana regeneration. Potions can be used to restore mana.
Current mana formula:
Max MP = Intelligence * 3
Focus
Focus is the ability to focus and aim on activities. Dexterity affects maximum focus. Being attacked by enemies have a chance to reduce focus, depending on the character's Resolve.
Focus is used to successfully perform ranged attacks due to the focus cost of bows and throwing weapons. Focus also affects accuracy and critical chances. Ranged abilities use focus instead of mana.
Focus can be passively recovered when the player is neither hungry nor poisoned. Potions can also be used to restore focus.
Current Focus formula:
Max Focus = (Dexterity + Intelligence) * 1.5
Rage
Rage is used for melee abilities instead of mana. Rage starts at 0 and increases when the player takes damage from enemies. Rage can also be increased by potions.
Current Rage formula:
Max Rage = Strength + 20
