Gourd is one of the guards who works in Vey's castle. He takes his duty very seriously and is in constant watch over anyone who desires an audience with the king. However, on the other side of the coin, he always picks on new recruits and sends them on impossible tasks just to make fun of them later. Sometimes he does the same with adventurers by giving them impossible quests. Even though he acts like this, he is not a bad person and will always defend those in need.
