Mckay is one of many researchers who live in the Port of Florintel. Weir is satisfied with the number of people studying, researching, and inventing in Florintel, and this elf may be one of the most promising ones since he's leading the research of new sailing boats with the help of Woolsey. When he is not in the library studying, he usually stays at the weapons store Radiant Rapiers and sells some things to help with his research.
