He and the elves live in harmony amongst themselves, while some other races have either strayed from their original purpose or are in conflict. The elf leader possesses extensive knowledge about all races and maintains a level of diplomatic contact with them. He believes that the most problematic race is humans, as they seem bound to destroy everything. He places little faith in them, while recognizing that other races have their own obsessions.

Elroffd says the elves are at peace with world. He thinks all humans are bent on destroying things, and that the very young do not do as they're told.
 
He'll give you extra information on the other races if you've read the [[Humans and Other Primitive Races]] book.
 
If you talk to him about the Myconid, he'll mention they have the most promise, but that he's lost touch with them. He will give you a note to deliver to them which starts the quest [[The Solution]].
 
Asking about the dwarves, Elroffd will mention that the elves use to be close with the dwarves, but that their obsession with precious minerals and gems have driven them mad.
 
He will tell you that the Bagu are water dwellers that live far to the south, but are hard for a human to find.
 
Halflings are your smaller cousins, who started out well but have gotten lazy. Elroffd says they are more obsessed with breakfast than true peace.
